Transforming Dementia Care Through Practical, Person-Centered Education
About Empowering Minds
Empowering Minds Dementia & Alzheimer’s Training was founded on over 20 years of hands-on experience in long-term care, hospice, rehabilitation, assisted living, and dementia care. Led by a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Trainer, our organization is rooted in real frontline experience—understanding the challenges staff face, the concerns families carry, and the unique needs of individuals living with dementia. We believe that quality dementia care begins with education, compassion, and practical knowledge.
Our mission is to equip healthcare teams, families, and communities with practical, person-centered dementia education that improves care quality, strengthens communication, and supports safer, more compassionate environments. We go beyond theory to help caregivers better understand behaviors, reduce frustration, prevent avoidable risks, and build confidence in delivering respectful, individualized care. Every service we offer is designed to improve outcomes, support staff retention, enhance teamwork, and give families peace of mind—ensuring those living with dementia feel seen, respected, and supported.
